Supported Playgroups

Supported Playgroups are run by a qualified Family Worker who is experienced in working with young children and families.

Different to regular playgroups, Supported Playgroups are specifically for parents and families who need extra support for a myriad of reasons, including isolation, having multiple young children or dealing with mental health or disability issues.

Each Supported Playgroup gives parents and carers an opportunity to interact with their children in a fun, safe environment, with structured activities and programs delivered by experienced early childhood experts.

Families get the benefit of the Family Worker’s broad network of relevant services in each community. This provides easier access to additional family support, community programs and allied health referrals.
