Home-Start supports vulnerable families throughout NSW & VIC. But we can’t do it alone. We need your help.

As a not-for-profit organisation, donations are an important aspect of carrying out our work. All donations $2 and over are tax deductible.

We work with families who, for whatever reason, are struggling to give their children what they need. Very often, we’re the last chance they have. Your generosity will help us to reach out to parents and children who urgently need Home-Start support.

We have Deductible Gift Recipient (DGR) status which means that donations $2 and over are tax deductible in Australia. You’ll receive a receipt directly to your inbox.

We are a registered charity with the Australian Charity & Not-for-profit Commission.

Your donation gives kids a better start in life.

Generous people like you help us connect with parents who are isolated, experiencing depression, overwhelmed by parenting, under financial stress or have escaped domestic violence.

Our staff and volunteers are trained to meet parents wherever they are at. We get alongside them, develop genuine connections, grow their skills, and increase their confidence and community connections so their children can reach their full potential.

Each donation helps us:

Cover wages of our fully trained staff

Purchase materials & resources for Supported Playgroups

Deliver & provide resources for Community Building events

Reimburse fuel costs for our volunteers

Buy laptos and IT equipment to lend to families experiencing hardship

Produce resources for volunteer training
